The keyboard assembly is constructed similar to Topre, where small screws thread into individual, discrete switches, holding the PCB to the plate. This assembly is held to the bottom housing of the keyboard via 2 screws and 2 clips. The back side of the PCB is shielded.

+Interestingly, the silkscreening on the PCB shows the Multitech branding covered in marker, and this was most definitely done in the factory by Acer themselves during their restructuring period. It is likely that the PCB was made before the rebrand, and the keyboards were finished after.
