**Alps SKFL** is a low profile linear switch in the Alps SKFL series.
==== Characteristics ====
The switch has a stem, spring and contact module in an atypical housing that holds all of its components, retained by a bent metal top. The contact module functionally resembles that of [[switch:alps_skfm_series|Alps SKFM]], though they are mutually incompatible.
The grey stem is unlubricated and takes Alps common mount keycaps with a centre hole.
The metal top acts as a jumper when soldered, and the housing has a cavity opposite the switchplate for a diode or LED; LED variants have a cutout in the metal top to accomodate it.
