The stem, which is a cream color, is always lubricated and is likely made of a nylon blend((supposition based on materials in first generation SKCM/SKCL)). It is significantly taller than [[switch:alps_skcc_cream|Alps SKCC Cream]] and has a different mount but in all other regards is otherwise identical. Alps SKCC Tall Cream, like all SKCC series switches, uses a contact module to register the keypress. This sits in the middle of the housing opposite the spring. ==== Additional Information ==== The switch has only been seen in Apple and Apple-related keyboards. The switch mount is different to others in the SKCC series, keycap compatibility may vary. ==== Gallery ==== :switch:mountcomparison.jpg {{tag>switch:oem-alps switch:type-linear switch:sense-contact switch:family-skcc}}
