**Mitsumi KAM** is the standard switch in the [[switch:mitsumi_kam_series|KAM series]] of switches produced by Mitsumi Electric Co., Ltd.((switches are branded with a Mitsumi logo on the underside of the bottom housing))

==== Characteristics ====

This switch has holes in the bottom that allow the contact module to be inserted into either side of the housing, or even for multiple modules to be installed, but as the bottom housing lacks the nubs found in double action housings a standard switch cannot be converted into a double action switch.

Typically the top and bottom housing are a milky white plastic while the slider is white.  The switch can come with either color of contact module, blue or white. The color of the contact module does not effect switch operation.
