Datacomp DFK-777

The Datacomp DFK-777 was one of Datacomp's AT keyboard models.
It often appears rebranded by computer companies such as Computerland and Ultra From Imagineering.¹⁾.
It's been documented to come with two different switches: SKCM Blue Alps and Futaba MA. ²⁾ It features a AT/XT switch and DIN-5 cable.

The keyboard consists of three parts: a ABS top, painted steel bottom case, and an internal assembly

The top housing is made of ABS plastic.
Externally, it has a sort of raised “ridge” around the keys that turns into a slope at the top and serves as a pen holder. The top right has a lock-light sticker.
Internally, it features standoffs for screws with brass screw inserts, standoffs for holding the case in place and the flip-out feet mechanism.

The bottom case is made out of a painted metal that can rust which implies it's made out of steel.
Externally, it features a cutout for the AT/XT switch, a sticker for said switch, a S/N sticker, a country of origin stamped in the bottom right and six total feet: four being non-slip feet and two flip-out feet for adjusting the keyboard's angle.
The Futaba variant features an extra sticker with the keyboard's FCC ID on it
Internally, it has a PCB for the AT/XT switch and a couple pieces of rubber and tape to prevent the assembly PCB from shorting.

The assembly consists of a PCB and painted metal switch plate. The switch plate can rust which implies it's made of steel.
On the back of the keyboard PCB there is a cable soldered to it that connects to the AT/XT switch PCB.

The keycaps are made of doubleshot ABS on both variants. The Futaba variant uses distinctive “tombstone” keycaps, and the Alps version uses regular Alps OEM profile keycaps.
