Description
The Leading Edge DC-2014 is an XT-class keyboard and was manufactured for use with the Leading Edge Model D personal computer. It is notable for being one of the few keyboards to appear exclusively with Alps SKCM Blue.
Construction & Internals
The case is comprised of a plastic upper case and plastic tray. The upper case has a distinctive concave dish that runs horizontally, presumably there either for aesthetics or for storage.
The coiled Sumitomo cable runs out of the left side of the board.
Keycaps
All keycaps are standard Alps OEM doubleshots. The board comes with less stepped keycaps compared to other XT-layout boards, such as the original IBM Model F.
