Description
The SKB-5150c was an AT layout keyboard produced by Podworld and was likely the last AT layout SKB series keyboard.
It features an AT/XT switch, Keyworld or Proworld switches and Tai-Hao TH series keycaps.1)
Construction
Case and Internals
The keyboard consists of three parts: a ABS top case, painted steel bottom case, and an internal assembly
Top case
Externally, it has a long sticker above the top row with blocks for writing F key functions and transparent windows for the lock-light bank. Internally, it has plastic standoffs with threaded brass inserts for fastening the top and bottom case together and two plastic pegs for aligning the assembly.
Bottom case
Externally, it has an A / X sticker, a QC sticker, a serial number sticker and a country of origin sticker. It uses four feet in total: two non-slip feet and two flip-out feet with cable routing hooks. Currently, no internal pictures are documented.
Assembly
The top consists of a PCB and a painted steel switch mounting plate.
Currently, there are no known pictures of the top of the PCB
The bottom of the PCB has a PD-17-1 marking in the documented example.
Keycaps
The keycaps are ABS doubleshots made by Tai-Hao in their TH profile
