Description
The Xerox 928-900451 is a keyboard that was used with the Xerox II line of computers and manufactured by Xerox. The PCB bears Maxi Switch Co. markings, and uses a 25-pin proprietary cable to connect to the computer. The keyboard has only been documented to have Maxi Switch Vintage Linear keyswitches, with a dummy switch used to stabilize the “return” key, and a latching keyswitch under the “lock” key.
Keycaps
The keycaps are white on black doubleshot ABS, with mold markings indicating that they were manufactured by Comptec. Keycaps are spherical, and are sculpted on the alphanumeric cluster. The numpad cluster keycaps are a uniform, flat sculpt. All keycaps have a textured top with smooth sides.
