Mitsumi KAM Half Action is is a linear switch in the Mitsumi KAM Series.

The switch is composed of 6 parts, a top and bottom housing, a slider, a return spring, a secondary spring, and a secondary contact module. The slider is typically white, and the top and bottom housings are both yellow.

Like Light Weight Mitsumi KAM and Light Weight Mitsumi KAM Dummy, KAM Half Action uses a lighter return spring than standard KAM.

Like KAM Double Action, KAM Half Action has two stages. However, unlike KAM Double Action, KAM Half Action does not actuate during the first stage and only actuates during the second stage as it lacks a standard contact module. This is to prevent the key this sort of switch is used on from being accidentally pressed.¹⁾
