Light Weight Mitsumi KAM is a variant of the standard KAM that uses a lighter weight spring.
Characteristics
This switch has a yellow top housing which indicates that the switch uses a lighter weight spring than a standard KAM switch.
This switch is used in conjunction with the similarly colored and weighted dummy switch on some typewriters in order to stabilize longer keys.1)
